FAQs

Q: What are your operating hours?

A: Our operating hours are 7am – 8pm.

Q: What is the Gas Safe Register?

A: The Gas Safe Register is the official gas registration body for the UK. It’s a legal requirement for anyone working with gas appliances to be registered, ensuring they are qualified to safely and legally perform gas work.

Q: How often should my boiler be serviced?

A: Boilers should be serviced at least once a year to maintain efficiency and safety. Regular servicing also helps detect small problems before they turn into expensive repairs.

Q: Do I need a Gas Safety Certificate?

A: If you are a landlord, it’s a legal requirement to have an annual Gas Safety Check performed by a Gas Safe registered engineer, who will issue a CP12 certificate once the property is deemed safe.

Q: What should I do if I smell gas?

A: If you suspect a gas leak, open windows and doors for ventilation and immediately call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Do not use electrical switches or naked flames until the issue has been assessed and resolved.
